On the medal pray
O Saint Christopher, patron of travelers, protect me and all those who accompany me from mishap and accident. Guide me in my travels whether by land, sea or air to my destination with safety. As you carried Jesus upon your shoulders, may I also carry the burdens of life that I face with the same determination and inspiration. And may the beauty of this world that God has created with the joy of His grace always be with me. Amen.
The Motorists Prayer
Grant me, O Lord, a steady hand and watchful eye that no one shall be hurt as I pass by. You gave life, I pray no act of mine may take away or mar that gift of Thine. Shelter those, dear Lord, who bear my company from the evils of fire and all calamity. Teach me to use my car for others need; Nor miss through love of undue speed the beauty of the world; that thus I may, with joy and courtesy, go on my way. Saint Christopher, holy patron of travelers, protect me and lead me safely to my destiny. Amen.
Pray the Our Father on each of the first three beads
Our Father, Who art in Heaven, Hallowed be Thy name. Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
Pray the Hail Mary on each of the next three beads
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with Thee. Blessed art Thou among women and blessed is the fruit of Thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
Pray the Glory Be on the final set of three beads
Glory Be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be; World without end. Amen.
**Due to the nature of Saint Christopher being the Patron Saint of travelers/motorists, this chaplet is also available to be made as a key chain chaplet. The prayers are all the same with the only difference being that the one set of three beads are used over three times for the Our Father, Hail Mary and Glory Be prayers.
