Saint Teresa of Calcutta Chaplet Prayers
On the Medal Pray
(Prayer of Petition to Saint Teresa of Calcutta)
Saint Teresa, you who have seen Christ Himself in the poorest of poor and had compassion on them, please help us.
Glance upon (person/s needing intercession) with your compassionate eyes and see Christ within (previous mentioned person/s).
As you loved and served Jesus through your work upon Earth, we humbly ask that you continue your work in Heaven and intercede for us in our needs. After looking upon (previously mentioned person/s), please turn your compassionate eyes to Jesus, as you had adored Him in the Holy Eucharist and present our request that (state petition).
While we are not as materially destitute as those you served on Earth, we reach out to you in the poorness of our souls and seek Jesus through you. Kindly, Saint Teresa, help us.
Pray the Our Father on each of the first three beads
Our Father, Who art in Heaven, Hallowed be Thy name. Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
Pray the Hail Mary on each of the next three beads
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with Thee. Blessed art Thou among women and blessed is the fruit of Thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
Pray the Glory Be on the final set of three beads
Glory Be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be; World without end. Amen.
On the Crucifix Pray
Dear Jesus, help me to spread Thy fragrance everywhere I go. Flood my soul with Thy spirit and love. Penetrate and possess my whole being so utterly that all my life may only be a radiance of Thine. Shine through me and be so in me that every soul I come in contact with may feel Thy presence in my soul. Let them look up and see no longer me but only Jesus. Stay with me and then I shall begin to shine as You shine, so to shine as to be a light to others.
